Amanda Smith

Amanda is a seasoned freelance festival organiser, she runs the day to day operations, manages the website, bookings, finance & artists.

When she is not in front of her laptop working on The Forest Showcase, Coleford Music Festival or other events you can find Amanda in her garden or stripping wallpaper – working on her next project!

Amanda is partial to a glass of red wine & loves food!

Rachel Salway

Rachel fell in love with the local food and drink scene when she moved to the Forest of Dean 25 years ago. She has worked on  local food initiatives and projects which helped forge good relationships with  our producers and suppliers. The Forest Showcase has become an annual reunion for the team and exhibitors – Rachel’s highlight each year is sharing stories and memories with producers who have attended the event for many years. 

Her role as event coordinator gives Rachel’s light relief from her day job supporting victims in the criminal justice system. She  can otherwise be found walking Monty Dog, cruising  the canals on Destiny the Narrowboat and attempting to make cider and wine using a vintage press. She is looking forward to getting much needed tips and advice  at this years event.
