Now in it’s twentieth year, the Forest Showcase has grown from a small event organised to encourage visitors to the Forest of Dean following the Foot & Mouth crisis, into one of the largest Food & Drink festivals in the area.
We pride ourselves on being one of the friendliest events you will come across & try to provide something for all members of the family to enjoy.
The Food Hall
A gastronomic delight, bringing together the greatest selection of flavours & tastes, with over 100 exhibitors from in & around the Forest of Dean.
Cookery Theatre
Each year we bring you a variety of cookery demonstrations from some of the areas top chefs designed to get you cooking with hints, tips & secrets from the experts.
Children’s Activities
A wealth of activities for children & young people ranging from vegetable creatures to stilt walking & juggling . We have Jitterbug circus with a fabulous circus show, Arts workshops include making your own forest mobile, painting a pebble & more…
Parent & Child Cookery Workshops
Get your children involved in some foodie fun, cooking classes perfect for little budding chefs!
Fancy the little ones being entertained for an hour?, having the chance to get their hands dirty whilst learning how to make a fabulous treat, they can take home and eat -while you can stand back, watch & relax & best of all, leave us to clean up! (£3 per family)
Live Music
Live music throughout the day from some of the areas fabulous musicians. A very popular area of the festival, it has been known for spontaneous dancing to break out!
