Spring Food Festival – A new culinary Celebration

The Forest Showcase team are delighted to announce its much-anticipated Spring Food Festival , taking place on Sunday, 25th May 2025. Set in the heart of the scenic Forest of Dean, this family-friendly event will bring together a fantastic array of local food producers, chefs, and food enthusiasts for a day filled with culinary delights.
A Feast for the Senses
Guests will have the opportunity to sample a wide range of local and artisanal foods, from farm-fresh produce to gourmet street food and everything in between. Highlights of the festival include:
• Food Stalls featuring local farms, butchers, and bakers showcasing organic, sustainably sourced ingredients.
• Live Cooking Demonstrations by renowned chefs who will share their expertise and innovative recipes using seasonal ingredients.
• Artisan Market offering handmade cheeses, preserves, cakes, chocolates, and more for visitors to taste and purchase.
• Food Tasting & Pairing Sessions highlighting locally produced wines, ciders, and craft beers.

The Spring Food Festival is not just about food! It’s a great day out for families with plenty of activities to keep everyone entertained, including:
• Little Seedlings kids garden area. Explore exciting ways to encourage your child’s connection to plants, wildlife and the environment, and nurture their mind with lots of fun-filled activities.
• Live Music performed by local artists throughout the day, creating a lively and relaxed atmosphere.
• Punch & Judy and activities for children and adults alike.
• Dog Show in aid of Forest of Dean Dog Rescue.
